Las Escuelas Normales en tiempos de la transición

RESUMEN: En este trabajo la autora hace un recorrido a través de la evolución de las Escuelas Normales durante el periodo de la transición en España. Contextualizando en un primer momento su análisis desde principios de siglo XX, enseguida sitúa la LGE (1970) como punto de inflexión que abrirá el paso del tardofranquismo a la transición sirviéndose de algunos casos paradigmáticos (Escola de Mestres de la Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Comisión 15, Plan Otero, etc.) para ilustrar el sentido y las tensiones de las distintas tendencias políticas, sociales, económicas y culturales que han influido hasta hoy de forma decisiva en el proceso de evolución de la formación del profesorado en España. ABSTRACT: In this research, the author travels through the evolution of Escuelas Normales (Normal Schools) during the transition (period which took place between the falling of Franco's fascist Spain to the establishment of the democracy in the country). Setting her analysis in a first moment in the context of the beginning of the 20"1 century, she quickly situates the LGE (1970) as the break point which will open the way of the late Franco's rule to the transition using some paradigmatic cases (such as Escola de Mestres de la Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Comisión 15, Plan Otero, etc.) to fix the sense and the tensions of the many different politic, social, economic and cultural tendencies which have influenced in a definitely way until today in the evolution process of the teacher's training in Spain.
