The First Shell Remains of «Rhinochelys Pulchriceps» (Owen, 1851) From the Upper Cretaceous of Nw-Germany (Testudines: Protostegidae)

Abstract

Thefirstfossilremainsofaprotostegidturtlefromtheupper Cretaceous of northwestern Germanyare described and discussed. The material includes a carapace anda plastronwhichbelong to thebestpreserved material of this species discovered to date.
