Palinología de la Formación Cimarrona (Maastrichtiense) en el Valle Medio del Magdalena, Colombia

Abstract

Two sporomorphs assemblages belonging to the Zaragoza and La Primavera Members (Cimarrona Formation) in the southern edge of the Middle Valley of the Magdalena (Colombia, S. A.) are described. The age of these two assemblages, according to the foraminiferal fauna, is considered as Maastrichtian. Three news species and two nov. comb, are described.
