Estratigrafía del Cretácico superior calcáreo en el borde occidental de la Cuenca de Cameros (Burgos-Soria)

Abstract

This paper deals with the iithostratigraphical study on calcareous Upper Cretaceous in the east margin of the Cameros Basin. Seven sections have been made and the data obtained reveal the presence of four lithological units of regional extension. A type-section of each unit is showed establishing their vertical and lateral changes. The correlation among all sections and the paleogeographical construction in this margin of the Basin since the Cenomanian transgression until the end of Cretaceous is carried out.
