Nuevos factores para el estudio estadístico de turbiditas. Aplicación a la Formación Lechada (Carbonífero; Cordillera Cantábrica)

Abstract

This paper tries to resolve a statistical experimental procedure to follow in the study of turbidites. Some factors are proposed which permit to express the proximality or distality of turbiditic deposits, and the graphic expression of the variations of the sedimentary charasteristics along a turbiditic sequence. This procedure has been applied to the study of the Lechada Carboniferous Turbiditic Formation.
