Características y probable génesis de una estructura típica en granitos mineralizados de la provincia de Cáceres (España)

Abstract

A banded structure, similar to Liesegang rings of hydrothermal origin, characteristic of some tin-wolfram bearing granites of the Cáceres province, in the central part of western Spain, is described in this paper. The morphological, mineralogical and chemical features of the granitic outcrops are given, and a genetic explanation of those structures, applying the chromatographic theory to this natural system, is discussed.
