Metasomatismo y granitización en el complejo metamórfico de Béjar-Barco de Ávila-Plasencia. Petrogénesis de los granitos de tendencia alcalina

Abstract

Included in the studied area are granitic and metamorphic rocks partly described in previous papers. In the present work new petrographical and chemical data are adduced which show an important potassic metasomatism responsible for the two mica granites development. Petrogenetic interpretation is based on this metasomatism and on water vapor pressure variation during anatectic stages. Time and space relations between anatectic processes and calcoalcaline granite intrusion suggest that these granites were the thermal source which caused metamorphism and, on the other hand, the potassium source for the metasomatic process which conditionned anatectic formation of the two-mica granites.
