Nuevos yacimientos de quelonios fósiles en Coca (Segovia), y su significado estratigráfico
Abstract Two specimens of giant Chelonian from Coca, Segovia Province, Spain, are described and classified asTestudo bolivari, H-Pach. Some peculiar characteristics are observed which make them different from other specimens of the same species. Several stratigraphie sections, as well as consideration of lateral faciès changes in the zone, permit a new interpretation of the Lower Pontian of the south-eastern border of the Duero Basin.
