Abstract

The Lugo Dome has been defined as a late, large antiform whose nucleus is occupied by the "Serie de Villalba" of supposed Precambrian age.

A cartographic outline with the axial surfaces of the main folds is established for the first and late phases, being noticeable the existence of a interference pattern of types 2 or 3 (RAMSAY, 1967) depending on the places.

With regard to the "Olio de Sapo" anticlinorium, in our opinion it has been originated during the first Hercynian folding phase and only possibly retouched by the later ones.
