Los yacimientos de sulfuros polimetálicos del S.O. Ibérico y sus métodos de prospección

Abstract

The main geological and metallogenic features of the South Iberian Pyrite Belt are summarized in this paper, with special emphasis on the petrology, estratigraphy, tectonics and metallogeny of the Valdelamusa zone, on the northern border of the Belt.

Some considerations on the possibility to find out new ore deposits and a discussion about the present methodology for their prospection and exploration are also made in this paper.
