The Embassy of Cardinal Troiano Acquaviva D’Aragona before the Roman Court (1735-1747)
Abstract In the eighteenth century, the Embassy of Spain in Rome still continued to be of great importance given the multiplicity of interests that were at stake, but in this article I will confine myself to examining the figure of the ambassador and his ministerial function in the Roman Court, to then analyze some aspects of the embassy of Cardinal Troiano Acquaviva.
