Abstract

This research is focused on the relationship between Pasolini and Rebora, a poet and priest from Milan. The Italian intellectual from Casarsa published a selection of poetries from Canti dell’infermità in the magazine Officina in 1956, underlining its importance in an essay. Pasolini understood Rebora’s freshness, the unity in its poetry, before and after his conversion. They also shared a sensibility for the sacred, the mystery, the quest for the truth and for the humanitas.
