Abstract

This study in Pharmacy students at USAL evaluated the levels of Burnout (MBI), Engagement (UWES) and Stress (PSS). Among 323 students, turned out that gender affects exhaustion, Engagement and Stress (greater in women). The year influences the dimensions of Engagement and Stress (higher in fourth year). COVID-19 had a significant impact, with the suspension of in-person teaching and an increase in stress. Revealed direct relationships between Burnout and Stress and indirect relationships with Engagement. Efficacy, vigor, absorption and dedication had direct relationships, as did exhaustion, cynicism, and Stress. This highlights the complex interaction between academic, personal and situational factors in the mental health of students and during COVID-19.
