América Latina y el ascenso de China: una perspectiva desde Brasil

Resumen

Este trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar los impactos del ascenso de China como potencia económica en los países latinoamericanos, con especial referencia a Brasil. Los estudios destacan que las relaciones económicas siguen un patrón asimétrico, en donde los países de América Latina podrían verse atrapados en una trayectoria de crecimiento menos dinámica y sostenida a largo plazo. Este artículo se centra en identificar las tendencias que se han originado después de la crisis financiera internacional, proporcionando nuevas evidencias sobre las características de las relaciones económicas sino-latinoamericanas. Nuestros resultados sugieren que, particularmente en el caso de Brasil, existen evidencias de que se está acentuando el patrón de producción y especialización comercial regresiva.
