Estudio cariológico del género Fritillaria L. (Liliaceae) en la Península Ibérica

Resumen

RESUMEN: Se estudian cariologicamente los táxones de Fritillaria presentes en la Península Ibérica, encontrándose en todos ellos 2«=24 excepto en F. legionensis, para la que se ha detectado n=27, el número cromosómico más alto conocido en el género hasta la fecha y que se interpreta como el nivel hexaploide del número básico x=9. Palabras clave: Cariología, Fritillaria, Península Ibérica.ABSTRACT: In this paper the taxa of Fritillaria present at the Iberian Peninsula are studied by the karyological point of view. All of them show 2n=24 except F. legionensis in which we have found «=27, the higher chromosome number reported to the genus. It has been interpreted as an hexaploid level of the basic number x=9.
