Evolución de faciès en el Jurásico calcáreo del sector Sur-Oriental de la provincia de Burgos

RESUMEN: El estudio estratigráfico de los materiales del Jurásico calcáreo en el borde occidental de la cuenca de Cameros, permitió diferenciar tres tramos desde el inicio del ciclo jurásico hasta la deposición de la «faciès Purbeck». Estudiando los caracteres sedimentológicos de estos tres tramos, textura deposicional, estructuras primarias, etc., se han diferenciado varias faciès en cada uno de los tramos. La mayoría de estas faciès tienen una amplia representación en toda la región. La evolución de estas faciès permite observar claramente un ciclo transgresivoregresivo que se inicia al principio del Jurásico en un medio salobre. Evoluciona hacia unas condiciones de plataforma abierta hasta el paso Lias-Dogger, donde se da el máximo avance de la transgresión. Empieza a marcarse el carácter regresivo al principio del Dogger con el desarrollo de bancos de esponjas y barras, finalizando el ciclo en el Bathoniense superior Calloviense inferior según las distintas zonas, bajo estas condiciones. SUMMARY: The stratigraphie study of the calcareous Jurassic in the west margin of the Cameros Basin, allowed to differenciate three units since the beginning of the Jurassic cycle to the deposition of the Purbeck faciès. Seeing the sedimentological characteristics, depositional teture, primary structures, etc., of these three units several faciès in each unit have been differenciated. Most of these faciès are widely represented in this region. The evolution of these faciès clearly demonstrates a transgressive-regressive cycle that begins with the initiation of the Jurassic time in a brackish environment. It changes into an open shelf environment until the Lias-Dogger time, where maximum transgression is reached. The regression begins with the first deposits of the Dogger age, consisting of sponge beds and bars, terminating the cycle with these conditions in the Upper Bathonian-Lower Callovian depending on the localities.
